Greater Manchester Pay & Employment Rights Advice Service has advice and factsheets

It is illegal for you to be treated differently because of your gender, race, or religion, or if you have a disability or you work part time instead of full time.

The Commission for Equality and Human Rights promotes equality and tackle discrimination in relation to gender, gender reassignment, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, race and promote human rights.

It replaces the Commission for Racial Equality (CRE), the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) and the Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC).
