There are opportunities in a wide range of job areas, and it’s likely that those in business and finance will increase. It’s possible for a full time job to be split and for two or more people to job share the position. More people are working from home using IT and e-mail to keep in touch with their employer.
Part time workers have the same
on a pro-rata basis as full time employees.
They have the same access to training and pension schemes too. Parents with children under six have the right to request part time work and the employer has a legal duty to consider such requests.
