Friends

Most people worry about making friends, even if they seem to be really confident and popular. You might have lots of friends; or you may prefer to have a couple of close friends. It doesn’t matter - both are fine!

You can feel lonely if you don’t seem to have any friends. Sometimes people you thought were your friends try to make you do things you don’t want to do. Your family may not like your friends. You may be worried about a friend who has a problem. Friends often argue and fall out too.

If you’re having problems with friends look at there4me.

You can contact Childline or telephone them on 0800 1111. If you want to make more friends you could look to join a youth club or get involved in voluntary work.
