Platform2 is hosting four Roadshows in in Manchester and Salford next month.    platform2

Each event will each have a distinct feel, from hip hop at the Zion; to folk at Islington Mill; comedy in Wythenshawe Forum and gigging in Dry Bar, the Northern Quarter.   There will be a mix of live music and DJs to cater for all.  We will have loads of acts, from street dancers, to rappers to skits (including Ben Knight from Poverty Monologues, Edinburgh Fringe) to spoken word poetry (Nikky Norton who recently performed in Contact Theatre's 'Beyond Words' production) and some big bands (including The Tiny Tin Ladies!).  The events are going to be great.

As well as being exciting and informative events, they will be an opportunity to find out more about Platform2.

The events are free and there will be a free drink for the first 50 people (limited to one per person). These will be non-alcoholic cocktails in Wythenshawe Forum and Zion Arts Centre.

Dry Bar, 28 Oldham St., Northern Quarter, Manchester, M4 1LE 7:00 - 10:00 Wednesday 9th December.

Wythenshawe Forum, Forum Square, Wythenshawe, M22 5RX 7:00 - 10:00 Friday 11th December.
