Inspiring IAG is a new quality award which focuses on careers education and/ or information, advice and guidance (CE/IAG).
It has been written by Connexions partnerships across Greater Manchester to enable organisations not only to deliver and be recognised for good quality careers education, information, advice and guidance , but also to enable them to meet legislation, prepare for inspection and provide a better service to young people.
Inspiring IAG is completed in three stages: Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each stage requires different key tasks in order to complete it. Every organisation wishing to take part in Inspiring IAG must start at the Bronze Standard, and can then choose whether to continue further to Silver and then Gold. The award involves self assessment, moderation and external assessment processes, and organisations must be able to provide evidence against a set of key criteria.
