National Minimum Wage increases
National Minimum Wage went up on 1 October.

Once you are over 13 it is legal to work for a few hours whilst you’re still at school - for example delivering newspapers, or working in a shop. If you get a job you and your employer will need to apply for a work permit from the Local Authority as it’s ILLEGAL for you to work without a work permit!
